Ohio Representative Considers Run for Commissioner

(November 13th) Tuscarawas County, Ohio – Entering into his final term, Ohio’s 98th District Representative is looking at the next chapter of his career.

Al Landis says his future goal is to stay in public service.

“We’re looking very, very seriously at the county commissioner’s race. I’ve talked with Commissioner Metzger in detail and the first question I asked is can I do the job. I want to make sure that I have the capabilities and he assured me that I did.”

He notes his exposure to different aspects of the state by being a representative will help in any public service role he decides on.

The filing deadlines for the next election is in February.
