OSP Sends Safety Message for Peak Deer Movement

<p>Mary Alice Reporting:

(Tuesday, December 5th) Tuscarawas County, Ohio – Even though Ohio’s deer-gun season is over, deer and other wildlife are still on the move so drivers should remain cautious.

State Highway Patrol Lt. Mark Glennon says there are peak animal activity times that all motorists should be aware of.

“In the early mornings and the evenings, just before the sun goes down, and throughout the night. Just be wary of where you’re at and make sure that you see all things around you.”

He adds deer and other animals will travel out of the woods and across roadways so drivers should be cautious. Glennon encourages everyone to slow-down and travel safely.
