Joyce A. Haney, 72, of Dover, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 following an extended illness. Born on April 27, 1939, in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Betty Muncie Morehead.
She will be sadly missed by her husband; Robert Haney of Somerdale; three daughters, Melissa (Jay) Syler of New Philadelphia, Jody (Steven) Ware of New Philadelphia, Kimberly (Jeff) Lehman of Strasburg; along with five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her first husband; Paul Eugene Zimmerly; and her brother, Weldon “Butch” Morehead.
A funeral service will take place at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 10:30 am with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Burial will follow at Wooster Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
