Sally Sollie, 84, of Bolivar, died Monday December 19, 2011 in Hennis Care Center at Bolivar after a brief illness. Born October 31, 1927 in Canton she was a daughter of the late Clarence T. and Lola Mitchell.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and painting. She was a member of the Delta Chapter 539 Eastern Star Lodge in Canton. She is survived by her husband William H. Sollie, 4 children Thomas Sollie of Canton, Judy (Jerry Swejeck) Sollie of Canton, Gayle (Everett) Jackson of Mt. Airy, Maryland, Tim (Bobbie) Sollie of Lapeer, Michigan and 4 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Carol Sollie.
Funeral services will be held Friday December 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Lebold-Smith Funeral Home at 248 Park Ave. Bolivar. Rev. Kenneth Hutchinson will officiate and burial will follow in Fort Laurens Cemetery at Bolivar. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral Home.
