Amanda J. Miller, 78, of 4593 T.R. 365 Millersburg, died Sunday January 1, 2012 at 6:35 PM in her residence following a brief battle with cancer. Born Oct. 30, 1933 in Holmes County she was a daughter of the late John E. and Emma (Weaver) Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by a sister Nettie Miller of the home and her caretakers the Mose and Erma Yoder family which includes Nettie (Ferman) Miller of Millersburg, Leon (Miriam) Yoder of Dundee, Duane (Barb) Yoder of Millersburg, Arlene (Andrew) Troyer of Millersburg, Rachel (Duane) Raber of Fredericksburg, Merlin (Esther) Yoder of Millersburg and Myron (Kathryn) Yoder of the home.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Verna Miller.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 4, 2012 at 9:00 AM in the Yoder residence. Bishop William Troyer will officiate and burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in Berlin Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek is handling the arrangements.
