Neal E. Miller, 89, of 2823 T.R. 163 Baltic, died Friday January 20, 2012 at 5:45 PM in his residence. Born November 4, 1922 in Holmes County he was a son of the late Eli and Elizabeth (Raber) Miller.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. His first wife, the former Verna Mast whom he married December 9, 1943, preceded him in death on December 16, 1979.
He is survived by his second wife the former Susie Yoder whom he married on November 20, 1980. Also surviving are a son Eli (Annie) Miller of Millersburg and 4 daughters Amanda (Junior) Troyer of Sugarcreek, Lizzie (Eli) Yoder of Sugarcreek, Ella (Adam) Yoder of Baltic and Katie (Levi) Yoder of Sugarcreek and a step daughter Lucinda (Alvin) Schlabach of Sugarcreek; 14 grandchildren, 52 step grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 2 foster great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and first wife he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, a sister, 3 step sisters, a grandchild, a great grandchild, a step grandchild and 2 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday January 23, 2012 at 9:00 AM in the Miller residence. Bishop Mose M.E. Yoder will officiate and burial will follow in Yoder Cemetery in Clark Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the Miller residence. Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek is handling the arrangements.
