Dover Firefighters are investigating a Thursday evening house fire in Dover Township.
 
Captain Mike Mossor says crews were called to a one-story ranch style home with attached garage located at 2529 Crestview Drive Northwest shortly before 11 pm.
 
Mossor says upon arrival, the garage of the home was fully involved.
 

 
Mossor says the home is owned by Bob Rennicker, who was home with his wife at the time of the fire.
 

 
Mossor says the Rennickers were able to escape the blaze safely and says it appears the fire started in the garage of the home.
 
Firefighters from New Philadelphia, Sugarcreek and York Township assisted at the scene.
