Ohio Senator Joe Schiavoni (D-Canfield) has officially taken over as Assistant Minority Leader of the Ohio Senate Democratic Caucus.

Schiavoni has been focused on education since joining the Ohio Senate in January 2009 and has been celebrating a recent victory.
 
            
 
Schiavoni says he will continue to fight to improve education standards within the Buckeye State.
 
            
 
Schiavoni currently serves as the Ranking Member on both the Insurance, Commerce and Labor Committee and the Energy and Public Utilities Committee.
