Area residents are encouraged to participate in this Saturday’s Community Recycle Day.
The event is being held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the north corner of the Buehler’s store in Dover.
Becky Foster, Director of Construction and Maintenance for Buehler’s, says they’ve partnered with the Stark-Tuscarawas-Wayne Solid Waste Management District and several vendors to offer this event.
Foster says the purpose of the event is to keep recyclables out of the landfill.
Foster says there are items that they cannot accept.
Foster says a similar event held in May at the Milltown store in Wooster was a huge success.
