For some New Philadelphia officials, it could soon be moving day.
 
Mayor Mike Taylor says the third floor of city hall, an area that was left vacant for years, will soon undergo some renovations.
 

 
Taylor says the floor does include elevator access and has been re-purposed over the years.
 

 
Taylor notes that the gym equipment currently housed in the space will be relocated to the basement of the Tuscarawas County Convention and Visitors Bureau office to make room for additional city officials.
 

 
Taylor notes that change should be a benefit to residents.
 

 
Taylor says funding for the work has already been allotted and a contractor has been chosen.
 

 
Taylor says he expects work for the renovations to begin within the next sixty days.
