A late Thursday night crash has claimed the life of a Uniontown man.
 
Troopers with the New Philadelphia Post of the State Highway Patrol say 56-year-old Jeffrey E. Dollinger was traveling east on State Route 212, just east of Bolivar, on a 2005 Harley Davidson, when he reportedly failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a sandstone base and sign.
 
Troopers say the crash occurred around 11:30 pm and say Dollinger was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
 
The patrol is also asking anyone that may have had contact with Dollinger between the hours of 5 pm and 11:30 pm Thursday night to contact the post at 330-339-1103.
