Construction is moving forward on a new Carroll County Junior Fair livestock facility.

Wes Frew with the Carroll County Agricultural Society says the frame of the new structure has already been erected.



Frew says two fundraisers are being held this weekend to assist with facility costs.

He says if additional money is able to be raised, construction will move forward.



Frew says a chicken barbeque is being held at the Carroll County Fairgrounds on Saturday from 4 pm to 7 pm and says carry out is available.

He says a concert, featuring New Wave Nation, is also being held in the grandstands from 8 pm to 11 pm.



Frew says pre-sale tickets for the barbeque are still available and says tickets for the concert are being made available the night of the show for $5.00.

He says those who take part in the barbeque are able to purchase tickets for the concert for $3.

The Carroll Co. Agricultural Society is a 501(c) (3) tax exempt organization. 

Any donation of $5,000 or more will allow a donor’s name to appear on a permanent plaque in the barn.
