City Taking Steps to Find Funding for Clay Museum Roof
Nathan Cozart Reporting
Uhrichsville’s mayor is making sure the city pays nothing out-of-pocket for a new roof for the city’s Clay Museum.
Mayor Terry Culbertson says the city recently applied for a $10,000 grant through the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation.
In addition, Culbertson says he intends to apply for more money in the weeks to come.
Culbertson notes that Uhrichsville recently received approximately half of the money for the cost of the new roof.
Should the city be denied the $10,000 grant, Culbertson says he will pursue other options.
At this time, Culbertson says he is unaware of when Uhrichsville will receive word on whether or not they have received the grant from the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation.
