New Philadelphia Firefighters are continuing to investigate an early Thursday morning fire.
Fire Captain Jim Sholtz says crews were called to a reported structure fire, located at 418 Tuscarawas Avenue Northwest, shortly after 4 o’clock.
Sholtz says crews attempted to save the structure.
Sholtz says the structure housed a small apartment and a business.
Sholtz says no one was injured and says the State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
Damages are estimated at around $150,000 and the building is reportedly owned by Ron Maurer.
Sholtz says crews from Dover, York Township and Sugarcreek assisted at the scene, along with Officials from the Salvation Army and the American Red Cross.
