The Cy Young Days Festival gets underway Friday in Newcomerstown.
 
Festival Committee member Janet Chaney says two-time Cy Young Award winner Denny McLain is this year’s Grand Marshal.
 
            
 
Chaney says attendees will be able to meet McLain during a luncheon and parade on Saturday.
 
            
 
Chaney says it’s important for the village to celebrate Cy Young’s contribution to the community and the nation.
 
            
 
Chaney says another highlight of the festival is Saturday’s basket auction.
 
            
 
The festival features plenty of food, fun and entertainment for the entire family and runs through Sunday.
