MWCD Praises Alive 2012

Even though final numbers have yet to be tallied, Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District Officials are anticipating record breaking attendance for this year’s Alive Festival.

MWCD Public Information Officer Darrin Lautenschleger says tens of thousands of people descend on Atwood Lake Park for the event every year.

Lautenschleger says the weather for the event was ideal this year.

Lautenschleger says the festival will be held at the park for many years to come.

Lautenschleger says the MWCD also teamed up with the Tuscarawas and Carroll County Convention and Visitors Bureaus to purchase seven-thousand backpacks that were distributed to those who attended the festival.

“Alive” 2013 is being held June 19th through the 22nd and for additional information about next year’s event you can log on to
