The city of Dover is offering residents a free shred event.
The event, in partnership with Go Shred, is being held Saturday from 9:00am to 11:00am at city hall.
The event, which is open to Dover residents only, will give individuals the opportunity to properly dispose of items such as tax and medical records, legal documents, and more and is set at a two box limit per vehicle. Documents do not need to be free of items such as staples, rubber bands, or paper clips.
Officials will operate the event as a drive-thru, with residents entering off of Race Street and eventually exiting onto Wooster Avenue. Workers from Go Shred are slated to be on hand to unload vehicles.
