It's Time for a Country Fantasy in the Sky

The Gnadenhutten Fireworks Festival gets underway Friday.

Festival committee and fireworks crew member Jami Parrish says the “Country Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks display at 10 o’clock Saturday evening should be a real crowd-pleaser.

Parrish says she’s already set a pretty lofty goal for next year’s fireworks display.

Parrish says the parade steps off at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon and says a number of area firefighters and crew members will be collecting donations for next year’s show.

Parrish says she would also like next year’s show to commemorate the anniversary of some very special people in her life that also played a huge role in the development of the festival and fireworks display.

The festival runs through Sunday at Heck’s Grove Park.

WTUZ will broadcast live from the festival at 9 o’clock Saturday evening.

Also, don’t forget to bring your radio along with you to the festival as WTUZ will broadcast music choreographed to the fireworks display!
