With President Barack Obama touring parts of northeast Ohio this week, the Republican party brought their presence to the Tuscarawas Valley.Both 18th District Congressman Bob Gibbs and 6th District Congressman Bill Johnson featured the Mitt Romney campaign tour bus as part of the First Town Days Festival parade Friday evening.
Johnson says Romney knows “what it means to create jobs,” including in Tuscarawas County.
Johnson notes that it is vitally important to showcase Republican presence in the area.
Gibbs says there are four key items to focus on.
With the November election nearly four months away, Gibbs says Republican officials have a game plan for the area.During the parade, Johnson and Gibbs were joined by several local-level Republican party members, including
Tuscarawas County Clerk of Courts candidate Nicholas Homrighausen and candidate for Tuscarawas County Commissioner, Shane Gunnoe.
