The New Philadelphia Business and Community Association (NPBCA) is in the midst of a successful summer season.
Administrative Director Diane Lautenschleger says the non-profit organization has received volunteer hours, valued at $9,929.41, for various projects, including gazebo and kiosk painting, a summer flower project, and storefront window cleaning. She says the assistance is always a plus.
Operating with only one, part-time employee and a minimal budget, Lautenschleger says the summer help is a key component to the success of the NPBCA.
Lautenschleger says the association is also gearing up for the 55th Annual Summer Sidewalk Sale, which is slated for July 26th-28th, and could possibly be “the largest ever sale.”
