Katie Ann Schlabach



Katie Ann Schlabach, 93, of 2111 SR 557 Baltic died Friday, August 3, 2012 at her residence.

She was born July 13, 1919 in Holmes County to the late Menno and Anna (Schlabach) Schlabach.  She was a seamstress and a member of the New Order Amish Church. 

She is survived by her brother Noah Schlabach, her two sisters Alta (Henry J.) Hershberger and Effie (Andy) Raber all of Baltic, 9 nieces and 6 nephews including Paul A (Wilma) Hershberger with whom she resided. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Alvin, two sisters Ada and Mary Ann, her two brothers-in-law Mose Raber and Levi Beachy and a niece and two nephews. 

Services will be held on Monday August 6, 2012 at 9:00 AM at the Paul A. Hershberger residence 2111 SR 557 Baltic with Bishop Steven Hershberger officiating.  Burial will be in the Troyer Cemetery in Clark Twp., Holmes County.  Friends may call anytime at the Hershberger residence.  Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
