She was born December 24, 1925 in Plain City, Ohio to the late Roman S. and Mary Ann (Kaufman) Yoder. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by her husband Jacob M. Mast whom she married November 20, 1947, seven daughters; Mary (John Henry) Beechy, Ada (Junior E.A.) Yoder both of Millersburg, Fannie (Dan J.) Troyer, Susie (Levi Jr.) Yoder, Sarah (Leroy A.) Yoder, Emma Mae (Andrew E.A.) Yoder all of Baltic, Katie Ann (Raymond M.C.) Yoder of Fresno, four sons; Mose J. (Edna) Mast of Fresno, Jonas J. (Lizzie) Mast of Millersburg, Vernon J. (Anna) Mast of Leroy, Michigan and Roman J. (Susan) Mast of the home, 74 grandchildren, 146 great grandchildren, one brother Simon R. (Wilma) Yoder of Plain City, one step brother Melvin (Ada) Raber of Walnut Creek. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her step mother, one step brother, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 9:00 AM at the Mast residence with Bishop Aden N. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Barkman Cemetery in Crawford Twp., Coshocton County. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
