Born November 22, 1919 in Holmes County he was a son of the late Albert J. and Lovina (Beachy) Keim. He was a retired farmer and also repaired hydraulic jacks for many years. He was a member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church. In 1984 he traveled alone to Australia and enjoyed bus tours of the back country. He also enjoyed riding along with his nephew Harold on his dump truck as he made his deliveries.
He is survived by a sister Irene Raber of Berlin and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Jonas and Albert Keim and a sister Mary K. (Maude) Keim.
Funeral services will be held Saturday August 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Pleasant View Mennonite Church. Pastor Dennis Hostetler will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the church and one hour prior to services also at the church. The Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek is handling the arrangements.
