Dover Steam Show Rolls into County Fairgrounds
Paula Wilcoxon Reporting
It’s full steam ahead for the 49th annual Dover Steam Show.
The event is being held this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds.
Tuscarawas Valley Pioneer Power Association President Earl Smith says this year’s show features Allis Chalmers tractors and related equipment.
Smith says visitors are also encouraged to stop by one of the many working exhibits including a Shingle Mill, Threshing, and a Sawmill.
Smith says there will also be other engines and equipment on display throughout the three day event.
Smith says the purpose of the show is to preserve and share the history of antique power equipment with others.
Also on tap, plenty of food, arts and crafts, a small antique area, two tractor pulls and much more.
