State Route 800 will be closed again next week in Tuscarawas County for multiple culvert replacements as the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) continues to prepare the roadway to be resurfaced next year.
ODOT maintenance crews will be replacing seven culverts between County Road 37 (Deersville Avenue Extension) at Dennison and County Road 36 (Moravian Trail Rd.).
Beginning Monday, the road will be closed during daytime hours only between 7 am and 4 pm, and this work should be completed within five days.
Beginning at the intersection of SR 800 and U.S. 22, traffic will be detoured east on U.S. 22 to U.S. 250 in Cadiz, then west on U.S. 250 back to SR 800, and reverse.
SR 800 is also closed this week during daytime hours between SR 258 in Stillwater and County Road 36 (Moravian Trail Rd.) for the replacement of six culverts.
