District Launches New Tech Plan

The Dover City School District is urging students to Bring-Your-Own Technology.

Superintendent Bob Hamm says the district is implementing a plan that allows middle and high school students to access a new wireless network, using their own technology.

Hamm says he’s looking forward to seeing how the new program is received by teachers and students.

Hamm says students will be able to access a filtered internet connection for educational purposes and again says educators are prepared to deal with any concerns that may arise from the misuse of these devices.
