Child Advocacy Center Director Resigns



Tuscarawas County’s Child Advocacy Center director is retiring. 
 
Sandy Wood says she plans to step down on September 10th after more than two years of serving as the center’s director. 
 
The CAC was established in April 2010 as a safe, child-friendly place where a team of experts collaborate to interview victims of alleged sexual or physical abuse.
 
Wood says she’s looking forward to spending more time with her husband.   
 


 
Wood says she’s pleased proud of the center and the work that is being done locally to help children in need.   
 


 
Wood says she’s willing to help the board with its search for her replacement.
 


 
The CAC board will accept résumés for a new director through August 31st
 

This is a challenging opportunity and a part-time position with flexible hours and some on-call duties. 
 
A bachelor’s degree in human services or related field is required.
