She was born February 19, 1943 in Bloomingdale, O. and was the daughter of the late Abraham Harlan and Lillian Elvira Oiler Bake.
Her family shared stories about Lillian, that as a child, she would accompany her brother Pete to the barnyard to feed the animals. While there, she would frequently ride around the farm on the back of "Polly", the pet pig.
Lillian's home has been in a number of various institutions since 1949. Lillian had siblings who remained in touch with her and showed a great deal of interest in her well-being.
She is survived by her four brothers and five sisters Dennis Bake of Bowerston, O., George "Pete" Bake of Leesville, O., Abraham (Linda) Bake of Jewett, O., Benjamin Bake of Bowerston, Mrs. Richard (Faith) Moreland of Carrollton, O., Nellie Davis of Miami, Florida, Mrs. James "Bo" ( Twila Jane) Beitzel of North Charleston, South Carolina, Mrs. Larry (Barbara) Bennett of East Point, Georgia, and Mrs. John R. (Frances) Scott of Carrollton.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 24, 2012 in the Longview Cemetery at Bowerston with Rev. Milo Baker officiating.
