Darrin Lautenschleger, Public Affairs Administrator with the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, says after Monday, admission will no longer be charged at MWCD lake parks.
Lautenschleger says while the lake parks begin scaling back programs and amenities after Labor Day, visitors can enjoy the parks and lakes all year long.
Lautenschleger says even though final numbers have yet to be tallied it appears that it’s been another record breaking year for the MWCD.
An estimated 5.5 million people visit the MWCD lakes each year and for additional information about MWCD lake parks and upcoming events you can log on to the MWCD website at www.mwcd.org
