Director Chad Conrad says with many local families dealing with the stress and emotions that come along with the deployment of a loved one or a returning soldier faced with reintegrating into public life, the chapter realized the importance building a solid foundation of support for area families.
Conrad says the group meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 pm.
Again, Conrad says the program is being offered to provide military families with the skills they need to help one another.
Conrad says pre-registration is not needed and there is no cost to attend.
The meetings are held at the Muskingum Lakes Chapter office located at 1451 4th St. NW in New Philadelphia.
