OVLA Offered to Harrison Hills Students

Students in the Harrison Hills City School District now have the opportunity to take a non-traditional approach in pursuing their education.

Superintendent Dr. George Ash says the district is now offering students the chance to enroll in the Ohio Virtual Learning Academy (OVLA).

Students enrolled in the OVLA through Harrison Hills have access to over 250 courses, including science, social studies, language arts, mathematics, and electives. Ash says the academy provides access for students both at the local and state levels.

Ash says the academy also offers blended learning for students who wish to have the benefits of both an online education and a traditional brick and mortar education.

Ash says the Ohio Virtual Learning Academy is available to students this school year and notes that the district currently has over 20 students enrolled in the academy.

To enroll in the Ohio Virtual Learning Academy, email enrollment@ovla.org or call Addie Cook at 740-433-4338.
