Thursday night, Uhrichsville council conducted interviews with the five potential candidates for council's representative for the Twin City Water and Sewer District Board. Among the five vying for the seat is Elaine Affolter, council's current representative. Other candidates include Kathy Furguson, Tom Heakin, Bob Baker, and Darryl McClain.
Councilman Rob Stewart, who served a three year stint on the board prior to joining council, says it takes a “particular person” for the job.
Whomever council selects will serve a three year term on the five member board. With Affolter's term ending this October, council expects to have their selection made by the Water and Sewer District Board's next meeting on October 18th.
