No one was injured during an early (Friday) morning fire in Mineral City.
Fire Chief Sam Moore says crews were called to a mobile home at 11371 1st Street around four o’clock.
Moore says the resident, James Riter, was sleeping at the time of the fire, and was altered to the blaze by a neighbor.
Moore says the fire remains undetermined at this point, but says it appears the home, owned by Sandy Valley Estates, is a total loss.
Moore says fire crews from Magnolia, Waynesburg and East Sparta assisted Mineral City in extinguishing the blaze.
