A son of the late Richard and Dorothy (Snyder) Prosser, Tobie was born February 5, 1942 at Canton, Ohio.
Tobie graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1960 and was a veteran of the United States Army in which he served in the Vietnam War. He was retired from Marlite at New Philadelphia and was a racing enthusiast enjoying all types of races.
He is survived by his sons, Warren (Sarah) Prosser of Canton and Darren (Mandy) Prosser of Dover; two grandchildren, Owen and Damien Prosser and his former wife, Vivian Eichel of Cadiz.
In keeping with Tobie’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover.
Those wishing to do so may send the family a personal condolence and light a candle in remembrance of Tobie by visiting the funeral home website.
