Donald Floyd, National 4-H Council President and CEO, says this annual event seeks to spark an early interest in science and future science careers.
He says this year’s experiment introduced youth to robotic engineering concepts.
Floyd says a host of topics have been covered in past experiments.
Floyd says he would encourage young people currently not involved in 4-H to consider joining their local program.
Floyd also says parents who want their child to be successful should consider getting them connected to organizations that can help the child understand the relevance of their learning such as 4-H.
