Holmesville Man Admits to Stealing from Grandparents



A Holmesville man pleaded guilty Wednesday in Holmes County Common Pleas Court to a host of theft charges. 
 
23-year old Jamie Jarvis entered the plea to one count of Theft, six counts of Theft of a Check and three counts of Theft of a Credit Card.
 
The charges stem from incidents occurring between March and June of 2012.
 
Jarvis reportedly told sheriff’s deputies that he took the checks and cards from his grandparents to get money to buy pain pills. 
 
Deputies reportedly say nearly $5,000 in cashed checks and in unauthorized credit card purchases were made by Jarvis. 
 
Sentencing is set for December 13th at 10 a.m. 
 
Meanwhile, a Loudonville man will be sentenced on December 12th at 10 a.m. after pleading guilty Wednesday to one count of Attempted Robbery and three counts of Assault.
 
20-year old Boone Walker is accused of attacking several people at a party that he wasn’t invited to and taking one of the victim’s wallets that contained $20.
