Chief Jim Parrish says the department’s open house is set for Thursday, October 11th from 5pm to 7pm and showcases several exhibits.
The event will also feature door prizes, refreshments, station tours, and blood pressure checks from the New Philadelphia Health Department.
In addition, Parrish says the department takes the fun into the classroom.
Parrish says after this year’s open house, planning for 2013 will begin shortly after.
Again, the open house will be held Thursday from 5pm to 7pm at the fire department, located at 108 2nd Street in New Philadelphia.
