Wilderness Center Presents Enchanted Forest

Area children are invited to attend a fun filled, educational night of woodland wonder at the Wilderness Center in Wilmot.

The center’s annual Enchanted Forest will be held this Friday (Oct. 12th) and Saturday (Oct. 13th).

Marketing Director Vicki Shoenfelt says participants travel pumpkin lit trails and meet non-scary woodland creatures.

Shoenfelt says the Enchanted Forest is The Wilderness Center’s favorite and biggest family event of the year.

She says some 15-hundred people participate in the program each year.

Shoenfelt says it takes about one hundred volunteers each evening to put on the program.  She says anyone interested in volunteering can either call or email her at The Wilderness Center.

Shoenfelt says kids often dress up for the program that takes about 45 minutes to complete.
