Ohio’s Lieutenant Governor is encouraging local voters to cast their ballots early for the GOP ticket.
Mary Taylor and the Commit to Mitt Early Vote Express tour bus made a brief stop Thursday in Tuscarawas County to promote early voting.
Taylor says this tour is probably the most important thing the Republican Party can do leading up to the November election.
A handful of people braved the elements to board the Romney-Ryan campaign bus and hear first hand from Taylor as well as from 6th District Congressman Bill Johnson, 96th District State Representative Al Landis and Tuscarawas County Republican Party Chair Doug Wills about the importance of voting early and voting Republican.
Taylor says she’s seeing a similar reaction from supporters all across the state.
Taylor says she likes the idea of being able to vote early even if all of the presidential and vice presidential debates have not yet taken place.
The Commit to Mitt Early Vote tour bus made stops earlier in the day Thursday in Coshocton and Holmes Counties.
