A former Dennison firefighter accused of taking about $5,300 from his department’s coffers will be sentenced in December on one count of theft. William “Bubba” Parrish Junior changed his plea to guilty earlier this week in Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Court. Parrish will be sentenced on December 12th at 8:45 a.m. The thefts are said to have occurred over a four month period in 2011 while Parrish served as treasurer of the organization. Parrish claims to have used the money to maintain a certain lifestyle.
