Plane Crash at Carroll County Airport
Dave Peffer Reporting
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a plane crash.
The non-injury crash, which took place just before 7:30pm Wednesday (October 24th), involved a 1959 Cessna 150, which collided with two deer who entered the runway as pilot Michael Bantz of Canton was attempting to take off from Carroll County Airport.
After the impact, Bantz was able to taxi the airplane back to the hangar.
Neither Bantz nor his passenger, Thomas Erb of Alliance, were injured from this incident.
