Holmes County Man Sentenced to Prison for March Attack
Paula Wilcoxon Reporting
A Millersburg man will spend 16 months in prison on one count of gross sexual imposition.
The charge against 54-year old David Kauffman stems from an incident this past March in which Kauffman used deception to gain entry to a North School Street woman’s apartment.
Once inside, Kauffman is reported to have attacked the victim after snorting bath salts.
Judge Robert Rinfret also ordered Kauffman to pay the costs and the fees and expenses of his court appointed attorney.
Meanwhile, 18-year old Adam Miller of Orrville appeared in common pleas court for sentencing on one count of grand theft of a firearm, four counts of breaking and entering and three counts of permitting drug abuse.
Miller was ordered to spend a total of thirty-five months in prison.
