Pearl Yvonne Coss, age 88, of Uhrichsville, O., passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012, at her residence, following a short battle with cancer.

Born on July 23, 1924, at Canton, O., Pearl was the daughter of late Louis and Martha (Lerch) Kaw.

Pearl was a homemaker and she belonged to the Tourist Club. She enjoyed collecting antique glassware and she loved to read.

Pearl is survived by her son Charles F. (Debra) Coss of Kimbolten; sister Jane Swinehart of Canton; grandson Steven (Tiffany) McMullen of Newcomerstown; 4 great grandchildren Steven, Monique, Hunter and Gage and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pearl is preceded in death by her husband Charles F. Coss, whom she married on February 16, 1942 and who passed away on March 1, 1994; 3 brothers Robert, William and Louis Kaw and 2 sisters Dorothy Patterson and Patricia Blousser.

Funeral services for Pearl will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2012, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Rev. Mark Unrue officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the funeral home.
