Mayor Mike Taylor says the lift station in question, which acts as a main servicing line for the city's industrial park, is located at Reiser Avenue and County Road 25A.
Following talks with GE, Taylor says officials are looking at possibly upgrading the pumps for the station.
Despite a nearly 50-thousand dollar price tag for the project, Taylor says the city would not have to wait long to recuperate its money.
Taylor notes that council has already been made aware of the possible project and adds that, should the work be approved, he expects the upgrade to take sixty days or less to complete
