United Way Asks For Your Help As The Holiday Season Approaches

The United Way of Tuscarawas County is asking for your help so they can continue helping the community.

This year’s annual giving campaign began in late August and will continue through January.

President Alison Kerns says some of the area’s program supporters have already concluded their campaigns for the year.

Kerns says that all of the funds raised in the area stay in the community.

Kerns says there are seventeen agencies that are supported by the United Way.

Even though the United Way has been around for 70 years, Kerns believes there may be many people who are unaware what the organization does.

Kerns says she's grateful for all of the people who have supported the organization.

Anyone wishing to make a contribution to the United Way can do so by payroll deduction through their workplace if their employer offers that service.

Other options to give are by either calling United Way at (330) 343-7772 or by visiting their web site TuscUnitedWay.org.
