The board earlier this year chose to accept nearly $10 million from the Ohio School Facilities Commission for the construction of a new school that would house K through 12 students.
Superintendent Teresa Alberts says the meetings scheduled for November 19th and 20th are meant to inform residents about an upcoming levy for the proposed project and the financial state of the district.
Alberts says the district also is looking for feedback from the community on what they would support.
Alberts says the commission has given the district until next summer to decide whether or not they want to take advantage of the program’s funds.
Alberts says the board is looking to put a levy before voters in May.
The following meetings are scheduled:
November 19th– Baltic at 6:00 p.m. and Ragersville at 7:30 p.m.
November 20th– Dundee at 6:00 p.m. and Miller Avenue at 7:30 p.m.
