Kathryn McCune



Kathryn McCune, 57, 1250 Vernonview Dr., Mount Vernon, died Wednesday, October 24, at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on April 17, 1955 in Portsmouth, VA to the late George Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Schumacher) McCune, who survives.

She enjoyed listening to music, looking thru magazines, taking rides in the van and loved social outings. She also participated in various festivities, activities and celebrations during her time at the Mt. Vernon Developmental Center.

Kathryn is survived by her mother, Mary of Coloma, MI, her brother; George "Ed" McCune of Fresno, her sisters; Maria (Martin) Tallman of Coloma, MI, and Margaret Partain and her companion Gorgon Genoff of Virginia, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ken Hacker officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.addyfuneralhome.com
