Pathway to Wellness, a Friends of the Homeless committee, will host their second annual Autumn Odyssey on Saturday (November 17th) at 6:00pm.
The event is to help with the expenses for Tuscarawas County’s first drug recovery center for men.
Event organizer Anita Davis says the program for the evening includes food, fellowship and a silent auction.
Davis says the Pathway to Wellness Recovery Center is expected to open early next year.
Davis says she has personal reasons for wanting to get the recovery center up and running.
Pathway to Wellness is a project of the Tuscarawas County Homeless Shelter. Davis says since problems sometimes develop with people once they’ve left the homeless shelter, this recovery center is necessary.
The second annual Autumn Odyssey will take place on Saturday (November 17th) from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the Kent State University Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $35 and $60 for a couple and can be purchased at the door on the night of the event.
