Troopers at the New Philadelphia Patrol Post say the victim’s name will not be released pending notification of the family.
The crash reportedly involved a semi truck and a passenger vehicle that was driving south in the northbound lanes and was reported about 11:50 Tuesday morning near the Schneiders Crossing exit.
Traffic was backed up for several hours as emergency crews handled the wreck.
