Eli B Miller



Eli B Miller, 89, of 5803 CR 19 Millersburg died Tuesday November 20, 2012 at his residence.  He was born May 24, 1923 in Holmes County to the Late Benjamin A. and Sarah (Miller) Miller. 

He was a retired cabinet maker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He is survived by his wife the former Mattie L. Raber whom he married December 3, 1944 to this union were born 5 sons and 5 daughters Levi (Clara) Miller of Shreve, Henry (Iva) Miller of the home, Noah (Ada) Miller and Melvin (Barbara) Miller both of Millersburg, Elizabeth Miller and Fannie Miller both of the home, Sarah Ann (Roman) Yoder of Big Prairie, Amanda (Lester, deceased) Erb of Millersburg, Esther (John) Miller of Fresno, 40 grandchildren, 106 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 28 step grandchildren,  many step great grandchildren and a brother Abe B. (Anna) Miller of Millersburg. 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by an infant son, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 3 sons-in-law, 2 brothers and a sister.

Services will be held Friday, November 23, 2012 at 9:00 AM at the Miller residence with Bishop Henry Stutzman officiating. Burial will be in the Stutzman Cemetery in Mechanic Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call anytime after 3:00 PM on Wednesday.  Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
